Cumbre Dorada

Light Roast · Dominican Republic · Washed Process

High in the mountains of the Dominican Republic, the first light of morning hits the ridge before it reaches the valley below. Cumbre Dorada is grown at that altitude, where cooler air and slower ripening give the cherry time to develop real sweetness. We wash and dry it carefully, then roast it light, so nothing stands between you and what the mountain gave the bean: creamy chocolate, roasted nuts, and a clean, sweet finish.

Some coffees are made in the roaster. This one was made on the mountain — we just made sure not to get in the way.
